01 - Problem

Travel apps get used once, then deleted

Travel and wellness apps are typically used once, then abandoned. The goal was to design a product that keeps users engaged beyond a single trip, extending the relationship from a one-time purchase into ongoing engagement. The project combined artistic direction and UX/UI design across a responsive website and a mobile app.

02 - approach

Four principles to turn a trip into a relationship

Research, benchmark, design, validate:
a loop, not a one-shot

1

Retention-driven

Designed to extend engagement beyond a single use.

2

Full user journey

Mapped across before, during, and after the trip.

3

Cross-platform

A consistent experience on web and mobile.

4

Brand differentiation

A visual identity built to stand out in a saturated travel-app market.

03 - user flows

One journey, three moments: before, during and after the trip

User flow 1 - Before the trip

User flow 1 - Before the trip

Start with an intention, not just an itinerary

User need

Plan a multi-country trip, and know what you want to get out of it.

Design intent

Turn trip planning into a personal intention the app can come back to, before, during and after.

User flow 3 - During the trip

Solution 1 - Cross-sell

Help drivers find the right part faster

User need

Live the trip, not your phone, without losing the memories.

Design intent

Small daily rituals, prompted at the right moment, that quietly build the recap.

User flow 3 - After the trip

Solution 1 - Cross-sell

Make savings impossible to miss

User need

Once home, travel apps have nothing left to offer, so they get deleted.

Design intent

Give users reasons to come back: a recap that arrives when they miss the trip, and new experiences to plan.
